International Space Station Inspired, Open Back Headphone - Cupola
International Space Station Inspired, Open Back Headphone - Cupola
This 3d printed, open back, headphone is heavily inspired by the cupola of the ISS, hence the name "Cupola".
The Cupola is tuned with a bass hump and somewhat warm treble, and uses a 50mm 32ohm dynamic driver that is recessed and angled. The standard pads are angled fabric with a non-compliant foam (stiff), but can be easily changed out for 110mm standard pads if desired.
The headband uses a self-adjusting strap, printed with TPU as a mesh, and is suited for larger heads. The headband is made intentionally loose, to allow easy replacement of the bands in the case of damage or for a smaller or larger band, with an extra band included in each sale.
A lightweight headphone stand is included, shown in the images, and is printed in petg.
A basic brown, 1.2M, 3.5mm cable is included.
IMPORTANT:
It takes me 4-8 days to make each headphone, but it can be shorter or longer depending on order volume, or difficulty in tuning.
This is an item designed, printed, assembled, tuned, packaged and shipped by one person. So please be patient if there is a delay.
Due to the 3d printing process, there may be slight blemishes such as lines, wisps of plastic and some creakiness.
Each headphone will be wrapped in paper materials, and shipped in a standard cardboard box without my branding.
