Koss KPH30i Mod STL Files

The Koss KPH30i over ear mod printing files will be released at some point in the future for free. Reasoning is that the original pads are not made anymore. Most sources instead sell a version that has a smaller inner diameter and thicker foam, reducing comfort and somewhat altering sound.

The Mod kit will still only be sold here or maybe the etsy store. At least until the original earpad stock runs out or the earpad type is changed.

  • Pads are fabric/velour and are angled. The foam is stiff and non-compliant.
  • Example of logos. Have your own logo placed in the center disc in monochrome or multi-color.
  • Basic ~45 inch brown dual plug 3.5mm cable. Very light and flimsy, but works well. May be substituted later on with a black cable depending on stock situations.
  • Use each number to decide your preferred color. #1 is limited to the color options, but the rest can be almost any color, depending on availability One can even look for a particular color offsite and linking a 1kg 1.75mm PLA roll from amazon.
  • Static Headband It uses a rod to manually adjust the height and uses a non adjusting suspension strap. Good for medium to large head sizes.
  • The side of this M57, displaying the 4 magnet array that attaches the faceplate. This is the updated version and it uses that static headband.
  • Two-tone braided paracord cable. Comes with every M57 - Lyra. Colors are decided by the buyer and must be a solid-color.
  • The Frequency response of the M57 with the Bats faceplate. A more flat response compared to the standard M57 Lyra, with a notable increase in mids and a less sibilance. It isn't neutral, but is as close as can be without excess sibilance.

A 3d printed open-back headphone using a 50mm 32ohm driver and a dual 3.5mm connection.

The grill that can be customized with a customer provided SVG file of a logo/design. The custom grill can have different colors if the design is fairly basic. Each faceplate is removable with magnets, a feature that originated on the yet released Pulsar. For the logo, send a message with attached svg file, or if the design is somewhat basic, a png or jpg. Please limit logo colors to 6 or less. A standard faceplate will be included along with a custom one.

Printed in PETG, and the strap in TPU. The yoke has been updated for more strength, and some of the images do not reflect this update.

There are two types of headbands. A self adjusting type with an elastic strap, or a rod-adjusting type with a static strap.

Each headphone comes with a printed stand like the one pictured, with a relevant two-tone logo, a basic 1.2M 3.5mm brown cable (In pictures), and a two-tone braided paracord cable (colors can be changed upon request).

Using after market pads from Capra Audio on the M57 Standard improves sound if one can cope with ear lobes touching the driver grill mesh.

IMPORTANT:
Due to the 3d printing process, there may be blemishes such as lines, wisps of plastic and creakiness.
There may be delays when earpads are out of stock, if screws are out of stock, or if I am already working on other products.
Each headphone is made to order, taking 4-8 days to create, depending on the complexity and tuning, or if I have a backlog.
