Koss KPH30i Mod STL Files

The Koss KPH30i over ear mod printing files will be released at some point in the future for free. Reasoning is that the original pads are not made anymore. Most sources instead sell a version that has a smaller inner diameter and thicker foam, reducing comfort and somewhat altering sound.

The Mod kit will still only be sold here or maybe the etsy store. At least until the original earpad stock runs out or the earpad type is changed.

This is a variation of the M57 open back 3d printed headphone with a removable faceplate. It is still using a 50mm 32ohm driver and a dual 3.5mm connection found in the custom M57 Lyra. The faceplate is magnetically attached and can be swapped out at will, a system derived from the yet released Pulsar headphone. The file to make one's own faceplate will be available upon request.
Only the faceplate pictured will be included.

The earpads are angled fabric/velour. They are non-compliant and have a larger volume for ears that stick out compared to standard pads. The M57 can use standard 110mm pads after screwing in the pad mounting screws.

The headband uses sliding rods and is suitable for medium to large heads. But a smaller headband is included if the user needs a smaller size.

This M57 is pre-made and has been tuned to have a more reduced bass profile and a more forward mids profile. Included is a short 4.5ft dual entry 3.5mm plug, braided cable, as pictured, but the headphone stand is NOT included.

As the headphone is pre-made, there is no lead time and will be shipped either the next business day or the same day, via UPS ground. It will be wrapped in plain paper materials and enclosed in a brown paper bag.

IMPORTANT:
Due to the 3d printing process, there may be blemishes such as lines, wisps of plastic and creakiness.

Only the faceplate pictured will be included.

The magnetically attached faceplate changes the depending on how it is created. Less air gaps will create a worse sound. 
When changing or removing the faceplate, please do so with the headphone removed from the user's head, as the process is amplified in volume and may be painful or uncomfortable to hear.
