A Gift

This was a M57 Lyra Headphone that I had sent as a birthday gift to a long-time renowned content creator. It was received very favorably and is a notable personal achievement.

After a month of heavy use, the yoke snapped. This was due to too little material where the steel bolt connected to the hinge, an oversight on my part. The weakness was immediately addressed.

From this experience, a new headband style was created, as well as a new closed back derivative called Pulsar.

The Updated Gift

An updated version of the M57 Lyra headphone. A birthday gift for venerable RP streamer Venalis. Reception was positive and marks another personal achievement.

This M57 uses the newer static headband with rod based adjustment arms. It was also tuned to neutral, in line with some Hifimans.
It also came with a cable with his theme colors.

Pulsar

The Pulsar is a closed-back headphone with cooling gel earpads and an emphasis on user customizability. With magnets in a recessed surface, the face can be swapped at will with any other 73mm diameter object that can be attached magnetically.

A prototype was sent out to a particular YouTuber for their birthday, and a comment of it being potentially fragile did not fall on deaf ears. The Pulsar will have an option to use TPU as it's primary material and is expected to be durable enough to throw around.

Wireless Headphones

With the advent of the Koss KPH30i wireless model, a wireless adapter is actively being designed. It is to be powered by a user replaceable button 18650 cell. The adapter is planned to slot onto existing headphone designs. At present, only a solution using bluetooth has been made, but 2.4ghz low latency solution is a high priority.
